Alice Cooper Obituary

One day in the early 1970s, a British music magazine ran a mock obituary for Alice Cooper. So many people took the joke seriously that Cooper finally issued a formal statement: "I am alive," it read, "and drunk as usual."

Cooper, Alice [born Vincent Furnier] (1948-    ) American musician and actor [noted for his shocking stage shows and for such works as Love It to Death (1971), Killer (1972), School's Out (1972), Billion Dollar Babies (1973), Muscle of Love (1974), Welcome to My Nightmare (1975), From the Inside (1978), Constrictor (1986), Trash (1989), The Last Temptation (1994), and Brutal Planet (2000)]
