Victor Hugo: Writer's Block"Victor Hugo normally had little trouble producing such books as The Hunchback of Notre Dame and Les Miserables. But sometimes he did run into difficulties and was tempted to do things other than write [this, for example]. At such times he forced himself to work by having his servant take away all of his clothes, with instructions not to return them for several hours. Left with his own nude self, and pen and paper, there was nothing to do but sit down and write."
