Bob Burnquist: Medic!"I was skating this ramp in Switzerland," star skateboarder Bob Burnquist once recalled. "The bottom of the ramp was five feet above the ground. I did a backside air and kicked my board out. It flew at this guy who was standing there and clocked him between the eyes. He was out cold! I thought I had killed him. Everyone was yelling, 'Medic! Medic!' Problem was, he was the medic!"
[On another occasion, Burnquist collided with 11-year-old Shawn White. "He crossed over to my side," Burnquist recalled, "and I crashed into him. I knocked him out while his mom and dad were watching!"]
