Roman Men

Sophia Loren once made the mistake of going shopping for brassieres in Rome. An immense crowd of lusty Roman men quickly mobbed the shopping plaza, trapping Loren in a dressing room. Three (3) fire brigades were required to break up the riot.

[When Loren flew into Washington, D.C. in 1957, paparazzi climbed up on poles, and onto one another's shoulders, to get shots of her cleavage.]

Loren, Sophia [born Sofia Villani Scicolone] (1934-    ) Italian actress and sex symbol, wife of producer Carlo Ponti [noted for her roles in such films as Two Women (1961, Oscar), El Cid (1961), Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow (1964), Cassandra Crossing (1976), Una Giornata Particolare (1977), Prêt-à-Porter (1994), and Grumpier Old Men (1995)]
