Bentham Disappears?

Famed philosopher Jeremy Bentham's corpse once disappeared from its glass display case in University College, London. In its place, visitors were surprised to find a card which read: "Gone on holiday."

[Bentham was in fact undergoing restoration work after a rumoured beetle invasion.]
